iOS Screen Sharing NOT working on iPad Pro 12.9"

Hello!

Our company has an O365 deployment that completed, and Teams is being widely adopted.  I am trying to use my iPad as a shared screen for drawing and virtual whiteboarding on a OneNote page in the channel.

On my iPad, it says to go to control center, and hit record, then tap "Start Broadcast."    There is no start broadcast option, and I cannot get the screen share to work.  FWIW, the rest of the team is on mostly PCs and it is a Windows environment.

This used to work on my iPad too - I'll have to check this again and see if it's working for me. Maybe an iOS update broke it? I can record the screen, but the Microsoft Teams option disappeared last time I tried it...

FWIW, if I am joining a meeting in a channel with a OneNote tab, I can draw on the iPad and it shows on the attendees OneNote.

But joining a meeting from the iPad itself into a meeting, it does not work.

Now I remember - you have to hold down the record button when you access the screen recording. Then Microsoft Teams shows up. If you don’t hold down record, the recording is just local and it’s saved to the Photos app on the iPad.

I think the answer to this is no since I cant find it anywhere but...

- Since you are effectively using the screen recording feature on the iOS device does it save the broadcast of the screen share anywhere (local or to the cloud) or does it just show in the meeting in Teams and not store anywhere?

@DeanE153 it's not stored on the device, but if you recorded the meeting the screen would be included and stored straight to Stream.

HELP! I have a brand new ipad and i need to share drawings (whiteboard stuff) during the meetings i otherwise host on TEAMs with clients.  I am on my Windows laptop for running the meetings, and also signed in on Ipad. However, whatever i share on my IPAD Pro does NOT display on my PC from either a brand new IPAD or an slightly older one. I can share pictures on one ipad and it shows on the other, but does not show on the windows client. And the full  IPAD  screen sharing does not work at all. 

Both IPADS are 100% up to date with the latest IOS 13.5. 

Can someone point me in the right direction?

same here.

also need to go in the control panel and pressing record. This not user friendly and i don't understand why this happens.

So after removing and installing Teams, it works for a few hours/days directly from the MS Teams application but then, same again.

This is with iPad Pro 11 2019, with iPad Pro 12,9 2020 no issues, works as it should.

There must be a reason for this.
