Invalid Invitation Link for Free Version of MS Teams

Hello,

I've started a free MS Team and am trying to add members, but I am receiving feedback that the invitation link I send out is no longer valid. I've tried to communicate ahead of time and the recipient has clicked on the link minutes after I send it and it still shows as no longer valid. I am trying to develop other work arounds but an active link would be helpful and easier to distribute. Please let me know if you need any other qualifying information. Thank you,

@dcbermingham exactly the same problem - following in the hope someone can help. Have sent feedback and help but no response from MS to date

@Portiau still the same problem. Just created a Team free account and the join link does not work.

Same issue, received an teams invite to join, when I click the url and fill in name and email address and click on join, it says the link is no longer valid
