Please i need your help on this issue.
If scoped search is not enabled, then all users from Azure AD should be listed, regardless of HideFromAddressLists value and the mailbox type in the background.
Unfortunately, this is not the case. According to the settings, we should see all people from Azure AD listed, but it behaves like GAL is the source.
Currently, this suits us perfectly, but we are afraid that this might get reverted some day without a warning.
Additionally, if we had the GAL as a source of people, this brings negative impact on the Teams side (groups search, guest account search, ...).
Is there an official explanation from Microsoft side, why this is so?
