I have Office 365 Home and Teams installed, but no own Team group

Copper Contributor

Hello, maybe someone could help with this misstery.

I'm using Teams with my same account as Office 365 home and when I startup teams on my computer, Teams will not show me any own Team.
I may join other Teams, but I want to create my own team.

On the internet it says I have to click on teams and in the bottom I may create a new team.

But also that option isn't available.

Could someone please explain me how to create my own team?

Kind regards,

Dennis

Hi,

I guess that you don't have an Teams organisation. You can create a new organisation using Teams Free, sign in with your Microsoft Account and create a new organisation. https://products.office.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/group-chat-software

After you have created your Teams organisation you will be able to create teams in that organisation.

You can also buy Teams with an Office 365 subscription, not Office 365 Home. See the difference on Teams paid and free edition here:
