I am unable to access Microsoft Teams

I have been using MS Teams in my laptop for more than 4 months now but I suddenly could not access it this morning when I switched on my laptop. I tried logging in but it says:

You're not on Teams yet, but you can set it up for your organization.

Sign up for Teams
 
I clicked Sign up for Teams and went through the process using my Microsoft Account and even changed my password but I still couldn't push through with it. I have Microsoft Home and Student installed and I was using the MS Teams desktop app. Any help would be appreciated.
