How to un-assign a policy package in teams

I need to remove a user from a policy package in teams. Is there any way to do that?

Hi, only way I have found to do this at the moment is to go into the individual user and then edit each of  the assigned policies.  For example, in the image below, I assigned a user to the Public safety officer policy.  I then edited the user and changed the Meeting Policy back to the Global (Org wide default) policy.

If you click on Edit under Policy package, you may change to another Policy package, but there is no option to explicitly remove a Policy package.

Perhaps a better option for you may be to customise your policy package.  This page from MS says you can do this - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/manage-policy-packages
