How to store the Azure SQL automatic Backup files to local server

New Contributor

I Have Azure VM server. In that i have Job setup for automatic backup to Azure local storage.
I will need to store a copy of that backup in another server? How to do that?

Is there any way to do it automatically?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Saravana,

You can do the storage account Geo-Redundant.

Just asking... what has this topic got to do with Teams?

Hi Saravana,

If you have the storage redundant you do not need to do nothing your backup is already off site your primary datacenter, it's a copy on another datacenter in your region.

You only need that if the primary datacenter fail.

By the way, like @Tony Redmond said, next time this question should be placed on https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Data-Storage/bd-p/DataStorage
