How to see past meeting history and meeting timeline

Copper Contributor

I would like to note the time when a meeting started and ended, or better to say when I joined the meeting and left the meeting.

Unfortunately I am unable to determine this information from the Teams application.

Is there a way to view this?

Unfortunately that is only for the organizers. Is there anything for participants?
No, participants cannot access such details.

@VasilMichev Is that fair on the participants? I was scheduled for a meeting by my organisation for 1:00pm, I got there 12:58pm and wasn't let in by the host. I do I prove to my organisation that I attempted to attend the meeting but the host didn't let me in if I don't have access to such information? The meeting organiser are a 3rd party organisation.

@harkeju

I have similar situation. My manager complains that I'm always late to the meeting, but I know that his 'Always' is actually once in ten times when I'm actually late for a reason. But without having access to my recurrent meetings info, that contain details when I joined the call, I'm unable to prove that out.

I do understand that only meeting organizer has access to details associated with all participants, but if that is a sort of info that belongs to my activity, I do not understand why I am not able to see it in Teams.

Adding my voice to this discussion which has been open for 3 years. There should be a way for a user to see the time they joined and the time they left a meeting regardless of the organizing team. Many times my customer will setup the Teams meeting in which case I have no access to this information as being outside their Team environment.
