How to notify/message user from external app?

Hello!

I'm looking for a way to send a notification message to a Teams user from my external python app. 

I tried to use Graph API and send a direct message, but API doesn't allow to send a message using Application type. Is there a way to send a really simple notification?

Hi @wookie1987 ,  as far as I know you have to create a bot to do what you want.
