How to disable the teams access for an individual user

Please i need your help on this.

How do we disable the teams access for an individual user.

I have disabled the teams access by removing the Teams license for the particular user but still he is able to access the teams.

He should not be able to access Teams after you have done that. How long was it? Has he been logged out and logged in since you did the change?
