How to Convert a Non-Toll Free Main Office Line to Teams with Auto-Attendant

We have 20 users that we are setting up on Teams Business Voice.  Pretty simple as I've bought the licenses, phones and started the porting process.

Now what do we do with a non-toll-free main line (that's on our existing Cisco Server)?  All the documentation talks about buying toll-free auto attendants which we don't need.  Do I just buy another Business Voice License then port over that number to Teams and I'll then be able to setup all the auto-attendants, greeting and forwarding?  Or do I need to subscribe to something else?

What is everyone's recommendations for the switch ie should we setup this main line first so that users still on Cisco can be reached by forwarding to those DID and once their individual DID are ported over to TEams it'll just "work"?
