Hello,

I was wondering if there is any chance, that we can connect a call from Skype with a call from Teams.

We are new to Office365 (E3) and are working with both of them. But since Teams offers all the options we need from Skype, we would like our Users to only use Teams (they never really started to use Skype FB, so it would be unnecessary to teach them both).

Now, my question is if anybody of you knows, how to connect the Skype-Call to Teams. In example: someone gets an invite for a Skype-Meeting. But instead of opening it in Skype, it should be connecting with Teams.

Is there any option? Or do you have any Tips on how to use both?

Thank you for Helping! - Alina :)

Skype meetings will still join via the Skype for Business client. If you set your organization to the Teams only mode, you basically cannot use Skype for Business other than doing just that, joining Skype for Business meetings.

However if your organization is using Skype meetings, they should probably start using Teams to do these meetings unless there is a need for more than 80 users which is the current limit.

When in Teams only mode your Skype for Business client only shows a button to launch Teams if someone tries to use it but it still can join Skype meetings.

Anyway, hope this helps, I may not be understanding the questions fully :).
