How long does it take for assigning bulk users to a meeting policy

Steel Contributor

Hi All,

Im using:  New-CsBatchPolicyAssignmentOperation -PolicyType TeamsMeetingPolicy -PolicyName EducatorMeetingPolicy -Identity $faculty.ObjectId

To assign 210 users to the policy and been getting in progress for all when typing in :

Get-CsBatchPolicyAssignmentOperation -OperationId (number) | Select -ExpandProperty UserState

How long does it take for users to be moved into the group I have been waiting an hour and non are moved?

Any ideas?

@AB21805 Hello again! Can't say exactly how long it takes, but sometimes by only assigning a new policy to a user (from my own experience) it can take up to 24-48 hours. A policy can of course be applied sooner but it's something to bear in mind. So I would say just wait for it.
