How give Guess Access to Teams Shared Channel

Copper Contributor

This last year, we got many improvements, and new features became available in SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams. But it is not a surprise that the most anticipated capability released was the new type of channel called Shared Channel. Like this HubSite 365 for Pro Office 365 User

My Problem is now... How I can give Guest Accounts access to a Shared Channel?

You can’t. Shared channels use B2B Direct connect.
Thank you for your super quick reply.! That's quite a restriction. Do you know if Microsoft will change this in the future?

Solution
The fundamental idea of shared channels is that it doesn’t require a guest account and tenant switching. Add the user/group/org using B2B direct connect if that’s what you want. But must be set up at the partner org as well.
Thanks YOU!
