How free Teams to communicate with 365 Teams

Copper Contributor

Hi friends,

I am a beginner of using Team, sorry for I have many questions about this

my company has joined a partner license, with a 365 admin center

I created users in 365, they can join into group and communication,

but no way to add free version teams, user?

what is different between work, personal, education? they cannot communicate with each other?

AFAIK users between paid versions and free can’t communicate via Teams.
If you have a Microsoft 365 license, you have Teams...can you just confirm that's correct?
really, this seems not make sense

If your organization has Teams, the people you add will also need to be licensed.  If you wish to add guests to your teams, you can do that by adding individuals as guests (they may or may not have free Teams and it doesn't matter in this case) to your tenant/teams.

Within your own tenant, though, you can not have a mixture of paid and free users.  If they don't have a license, they need to be in as a guest.  Here's some more documentation that spells out in more detail.  I hope this helps:
