How can I create a Teams that links to an already existing SharePoint site or O365 group?

We have some SharePoint sites on our tenant that were deployed using the SharePoint Admin Centre as standalone sites. This means they don't currently have a Microsoft Teams environment associated with them.

Is there a way I can create a new Teams but link it instead to an already existing site/group? Without it creating a brand new group or linked SharePoint site?

Hi @Toby958, I'm not a SharePoint guy but a short google search gave me this link:

How to connect a SharePoint Site to an Office 365 Group - SharePoint Maven

And when you linked the SharePoint site to an Office 365, you can create a new Team based on an existing Office 365 group.
