Help please, trouble downloading a webcam meeting we had

Hi. I'm an Italian student and, for reasons you can imagine, our university are closed.

This is why we started using Microsfft Teams in order to have lessons thanks to meeting via webcam with the teacher. Yesterday, after we had our first one, the video was downloadable.

On contrary and yesterday afternoon and this morning we experienced a problem: we had our meeting and it was not downloadable once we finished it. I'm sure we were recording it.

When I click on the video this is what is shown:

I'd like to understand what we have to do from now on to avoid an issue like that.

Can somebody explain me, or link me a video tutorial (it would be actually better) what to do step by step, to have our meetings always downloadable

Thank you

-also, I hope this is not a double message. I wrote it 5 mins ago but after i clicked Enter the site crashed. Sorry if this is a repetition.

Hi @Deleted

Recorded video's from Microsoft Teams are housed in Microsoft Stream

1.) Go to https://web.microsoftstream.com and login
2.) Search for the video through discover
3.) It should be there. If not then you may not have permissions over the video and need to raise it to those who did the recording
4.) Once you find the video in Stream add it to your watchlist

To note, you can only download the video if you uploaded the video or are the owner of the video. That would be the person who recorded it, unless they made you an owner of that video. A video can have multiple owners.

Hope that answers your question

Best, Chris

@Christopher Hoard , first off thanks for the info about the site, but your reply is actually... strange to me. You see... yesterday we had a meeting and EVERYONE - we are like 80 students - were entirely free to click on "Scarica" ( "Download")

I'm not the owner and I was able to download it as all the other 80 people.

So my question is the same... what can we do to replicate this condition?

If the one who records has to make us owner or upload the video, how can he do this?

We're completely new to this app. Thank you again for your time.

It is likely the person who recorded yesterday's meeting gave you all permissions on the video, but not for the video's yesterday afternoon or this morning

Can you confirm with the person who recorded the video?

Best, Chris

@Christopher Hoard  thank you a lot.

Apparently it's all solved. Hope i haven't to bother you again. The video is in download for all of us thank to your tutorial
