Hands up after breakout rooms not working

Hi,

We are using Teams for our remote learning. I am so pleased to see that is this second lockdown we now have breakout rooms. 

Unfortunately, when students are called back together to the general area the hands up function doesn't seem to work properly. I can see hands up when they are not, but can't see them up when they are.

HAs anyone else had this, and how did you fix it?

Hi, well that sounds like a mess :) I assume this is only happening for you? Try a manual sign out / sign in in the Teams app (from top right corner) to refresh settings and get rid of some cache. Check for updates while you’re at it and let me know how it goes!

Unfortunately it is a wider issue, with several other teachers also experiencing the same problem - a real mess indeed!

I have tried a sign out/in and am up to date, but still no change.

Ah, in that case you should open a support ticket with Microsoft. Your IT administrator can help you with that.
