Guest User in a New Team being asked for a password

Hello there - I have set up a new team within my Org and granted access to two Guests / external users. One of them has been able to access the Team, however the other is being asked for a password. Should I have done this via Sharepoint to avoid the need for the user to enter a password? Any tips much appreciated. I am the Administrator for the Org so should be able to change any settings. Thanks in advance.

@JezDrakeRAPC There must be a difference but If he is asked for a password is that a mailed password or is it like a account login password?

I suspect that one email was hosted on a Microsoft solution and the other wasn't. If the user has a Microsoft account, that's what will be used and no password maybe needed, because the local computer already has it
