Group Classifications

I'm curious to know more about the Group Classifications in the "Edit Team" section. What limitations/restrictions do each of these actually have?

I am working with sensitive data and do not want it public, but would like to add "Guests" to the team in order for them to collaborate as well. If the group is "Private" and has classification of "General" will that be safe for my confidential data?

Classifications are nothing more than tags you can place policies around for retention and things like that. If the Team is private then it’s private to those users regardless of the classification. Now going beyond that to make things more secure you would look into conditional access policies with the files and all of that as well.

So a lot of it has to do with how far your going to go with that security.
