Are there plans to support all of the features in Teams with External Users? We have vendors that I communicate with via Teams. They too have Teams but since they are outside our organizations, "Some Team Features won't be available" ... which should read "pretty much none of the features will work except for chat" Simple things like attachments, screenshots, emojis would be useful when communicating with vendors and other external users.

@adam deltinger Thanks adam. I am not totally familiar with modern federation. Is this similar to federation configuration in an on-premise AD where each side has to enable permissions? That would be tough to enable when it comes to vendors, I imagine.

I hope this comes soon. It feels really odd to be chatting with an external user who is also using Teams and all you can do is write plain text! No inline images either. If you want Teams to be really successful, it needs to feature match the competition. Even email is better than Teams here...

@adam deltinger Seems to have rolled out for me, I'm now able to give likes, send gifs etc.
However currently I have the following bug and chatting with that specific user is not possible anymore. (unless I message him through the teams app on my phone)
Instead of the chat bar I get the message you see below, if I click on the "Continue your conversation here" then I get to a new chat window where the user is offline. And whenever I send a message there I get the "This user is unavailable or offline. We've sent an email instead"
Do you have any idea how to solve this bug? :)
