Files will not open in Teams app

I have recently connected the SharePoint linked to our Teams team to a OneDrive for Business. Now my team can't open any of the files in the Teams app on our company issued iPhones. Has anyone else had this issue? Our team is mobile and we were really hoping to be able to view our shared drive files on our mobile devices through the teams app by connecting to SharePoint. Everything worked until it was connected to the OneDrive account. Extremely disappointed and hoping someone out there has a fix.

How do you mean here! How did you connect to Onedrive? Do you mean you synced the library? You can reach file both through the Onedrive app going to library and also through the Teams app

It depends on the files. But Teams uses basically Office Online to view the files, OneDrive will link to the apps. So you need to make sure you have the office apps installed to support this. Are you getting any errors or what is the experience you are getting.
