Files tab not working on newly created shared channel today

Steel Contributor

This morning I 've tested on 3 different tenants and when I create a new shared channel, the files tab does not respond (just stay blank).

Anyone having the same issue? Nothing about this in the health service.

Same issue here. I have a case opened with the support, waiting for an answer.
We are having the same issue with 3 different tenants. Any response back from MS support yet?

@Brandon_Warren,

I've reported the issue in the "Service Health" dashboard but Microsoft responded there was no issue. I did not create a support ticket yet as @Cyril_PK already created one.

I have done this as well, lets see if anyone actually does respond to it

Seems to be working now when I create new shared channel (Files tab is ok).

I still had trouble with some I've created yesterday (One shared channel was showing my SP root site doc library in the files Tab !!)

I had issues deleting channel I did yesterday (Still show as active after deletion). I think I tried to delete them yesterday but only the SP site was deleted (look like the deletion process did not fully complete)... Now I'm unable to get rid of these channels (also tried with classic but not working)...

Agreed Martin, I was also able to create the channel today and there was no issue

@Martin-Coupal
We reported the same issue:

Create a channel and try to upload files to it and got a msg saying to check back later (which had been several hours in one case).

Looking at the sharepoint site - the channel had not been created on the back end.

Of course Microsoft closed the report saying "no issue found".

FYI, In the timeframe there were issues with shared channel, I was not able to delete successfully the one I created. After verification, the shared channel sharepoint related site was deleted but not the channel. I'm still unable to delete these channels. I've tried with Graph API and it is not working. These channels are displayed at the end of the active channels and can't be deleted in any way... What a mess....

So, I don't have the issue anymore with new shared channels. They seems to be working properly.
I'm still waiting for Microsoft Support to come back to me (they asked two days ago if I could try again and it didn't work at the time).

Still have one buged channel that I can't delete but at least users can work for now.

If your buged channel you can't delete is shared, did you verify if the related sharepoint site is existing?

@Martin-Coupal

The related SharePoint do not exist and I think it was the reason for the error in the first place.

Solution

Final update (I hope) :

The last problematic channel disappeared over the weekend and we have no more issues with new shared channel.

Looks like Microsoft fixed the issue. Still haven't heard back from the support though.
