Hi all. I'm willing to be called out on some file view limits in Teams that I'm not aware of, but here's my issue.
I was doing a demo of Teams for a client and we downloaded the app, and created a new Team, we called this Quotes and created a channel called 2017. All good so far.
We then tried to upload around 800 Word documents, all very small around 20Kb, Teams generated an error about a limit to the number of files that could be uploaded in one go. Fair enough, opened in SharePoint and uploaded them via the group site to the corresponding Quotes - 2017 folder.
Here's the issue, in the Teams desktop app (PC) the browser version of Teams and the mobile app I only see a very small subset of the files that were uploaded, I'd guess about 100 or so out of over 800 uploaded.
If I "Open in SharePoint" from within Teams then I can see and open all of the 800 files. Is there something in Teams about the number of files that can be viewed?
I do appreciate the workaround is to open in SharePoint but if the client is mobile they can't then see the files via the Mobile Teams app.

That sounds to me like Teams is using some kind of paging and only the first page is shown or an API similar to the search API that returns only the first X documents.

Yes could be, I've not seen it before, but I've not had anyone upload quite so many files.
A pain if that's the case as I was trying to keep people in Teams not having to use the SharePoint or Groups apps otherwise they jsut get confused.

But bizarrely the folders now show up. Seems if you wait, the interface is constantly refreshing and the list of folders shown grows - repainting every 10 seconds or so. Ugh - makes using it not very desirabl
