Entries on Conversations tab display as solid gray placeholder bars

Here's what I'm encountering. I'm curious why this is happening. And can these entries be recovered?

Issue: Grayed out Conversations tab items

Older entries are grayed out.

Any ideas?

Those are indeed placeholders as Teams is trying to re-fetch the messages. It's a stupid design as it can happen even for messages sent today, irrespective of any client-side caching. I've complained about it few times already and there are supposedly some improvements coming. I'll believe it when I see it :)

I always try to pop to web client when searching for things. Seems to function better. So,liar to searching old content I’m Outlook and using OWA. But as Vasil said this is a pain point that does need fixed.
