Enable Lobby so even org users cant bypass

Copper Contributor

I see that there are a ton of people wanting to bypass the lobby and I saw Skype had the capability to lock down meetings, but is Teams going to have the capability to make everyone, even Organizational employees, have to wait in the lobby before being accepted?

Every document I have read on docs.microsoft, explains the anonymous people lockout but there was nothing accounting for those who work in the same company. I have tested it as well and if there is an employee within the company, they can just enter the meeting, even if not invited.

Thanks for the help =)

Hi @JennClem

Unfortunately at this time the only 3 options are:

  • Everyone
  • People in my organization and trusted organizations (this is federated companies)
  • People in my organization

I've also checked in the underlying configuration in powershell as well and there isn't a "Only me" option.

@JennClem I agree, I would love to see this feature as well.  It would be nice if the organizer had the control to arrive before participants.
