Email integration option missing in Teams

In the Teams Admin Center, under Org-wide settings/Team settings we appear to be missing the Email integration option.  License - O365 E3. Tenant - GCC

Not sure but it could that Emailing to a channel is not available in Teams GCC, there is an uservoice requesting it here:

I saw that too but the confusing event is that I have a GCC test tenant and the option is available.

@e are missing email integration too.  It is so sad that features take so long to appear in GCC.

Has there been any change with this?  We don't see the option to enable email integration in our Teams environment.  Very confusing it's not there.
