EducationTerm attached to a class based team.

Hello,

 

Quick question if I may.  What happens if a Class based Microsoft Team has been created with an EducationTerm attached to it and then the end date of that term passes?

 

Do students loose access to the team?

Does it become read only to students?

 

The Teams have been created by the Graph API and an Education Term has been specified when the Team was created.

Hi!
AFAIK there’s no automatic actions done here!
You can set expiration policy’s based on number of days correlating to end of term. Same with retention policy’s etc. archiving is also a manual process which can be done via graph also..
