My student is trying to add a photo to their work but no 'upload from device' button is showing. How can we fix this?

Hi, not sure what you mean but if you have Teams users with mailboxes hosted on premises they must be synchronized to Azure Active Directory. They can change the user profile picture providing Exchange Server 2016 (Cumulative Update 3), or above, is running on-premises.

Also the -SetPhotoEnabled parameter that specifies whether users can add, change, and remove their sender photo in Outlook on the web must be enabled in the OwaMailboxPolicy.
