Easy calender to mark attendance

Copper Contributor

I'm looking for an easy way in teams to mark attendance on a calender.

Both loop and powerapps require me to make a list after wich the team members can "vote" on the days. But creating a new list of 30 days every month seems annoying.

I just need a clear calender and people click on the days they will be present. multiple people can be present or zero people can be present. Other people can see who clicked present. I don't need any integration what so ever. No outlook or other agenda's.

Maybe you can check if the calendar view of a Microsoft list works for your scenario

Hey,

It's a good suggestion. Unfortunatly it still requires you to add all 365 days in a year. I could use the choice option with the names of the people. It's still a bit ugly and not user friendly. Especially since you can't remove the title column (you can hide it but it's still there if you want to add an item from the calender vieuw)
Hey i did find the solution. List with calender vieuw is indeed the best option. I took a column with multiple choice and added the name's as options. The title column can be hidden but i still had it as an option when adding an item on the calender vieuw. You can edit the "add item" pop-up to remove the title option there. This makes it a lot more user friendly and so a near-perfect solution.
Glad to hear! and also it's great that you share how you did it to the community
