Downloaded recordings get immediately deleted

I am continuously encountering this problem with Teams since a month now on my windows 10 pc. I was trying to download my class recordings but noticed that every time I downloaded some recording that can be seen in the "Downloads" folder, the size would gradually be increasing but then, once the download reaches completion, most of my video and sometimes all of it disappears from the folder. I tried searching for it and found one other person report the same issue but no proper reasoning or solution so far. 

Can anyone please help me solve this issue. I am tried of continuously downloading the same videos again and again hoping it will stay after downloading.

Hi, I have heard some others describe this same issue recently.  Could you first try opening Teams from the web browser instead of the App.  You can do this by going to https://teams.microsoft.com - and try and download your video from here?

Let me know if this works first and foremost please.
