I have Teams on one monitor and a browser on the other, I just noticed that Teams was showing my status as Away, eventhough I was currently working on my computer. Skype for Business is running in my taskbar and it shows me as Available. When i moved my mouse to the monitor showing Teams it updated to show me as Available.
Is anyone else seeing inaccurate Status info like this in Teams?

I'm getting this again now. It had started to work 'properly', but now it's only showing as Available if I'm actually in the Teams screen. It's not great when so many people are working from home and are possibly under more scrutiny from managers.

@Steven Collier Teams should be banned by all companies. It should NEVER be allowed to replace Skype as the issues with Teams presence are not resolved even after 3 years of complaints from thousands of users. This company should be sued for making lives miserable. If watching a demo video Teams displays "away", if presenting timed slides Teams displays 'away", if in Webex meetings Teams displays "away". The only presence Teams can recognize is a mouse movement and there has to be a mouse/touch pad movement within the interval of 5 minutes, if not it will show as "away". Which idiot designed and approved this crap software is beyond me?

@Stephen Williams It has NOT been fixed yet. Google and you will find hundreds of complaints from 2020. Teams does not recognize user presence UNLESS there is a mouse/touch pad movement which is ridiculous. Can one not watch a demo video? Can one not attend a Webex meeting? Can one not present a timed slide presentation? These are just few examples that I face on a daily basis as my job involves lot of on calls and presentations. And this crap Teams shows me away making my manager call me several times to know why I am away from my computer. The worst thing is that Microsoft is LEAST BOTHERED even after thousands of complaints regarding Teams
