Deleting of a team site / underlaying group not deleted

I deleted a Microsoft Team site from the client. I dissapears from the Teams application (also from mobile app) but when I open the browser client to look at the underlaying groups, the groups they are still there. Is this a bug?  How can I delete the Test phase Teams underlaying groups I have created? I havent been able to find a way to delete them.

As Group Owner you are able to delete the Group...but: Why do you want to do this? Just simply delete the Team and you will be done

There was some delay. I deleted the Teams site, but the underlaying groups site stayed open. After 30-60 minutes, it was deleted also.
