Deleting messages for a deleted user

Hello!

   We have a situation where we (Admin) want to delete all messages for an user across all teams and channels they have been a part of when they are deleted from M365. Is this possible? if so, how?

How about a retention policy https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/retention-policies

Retention policy, after a careful test, is the best option in my opinion
