Hello,

When we delete a student from a team with assignments, the student will be removed from the team but any turned in assignments will remain? Is it the normal behavior and can it be changed?

Thank you

Pierre-Nicolas

Solution

@pnparadis it is expected behaviour that removing a user does not remove their content. I imagine you could create a Flow that would remove (or archive) content created by deleted users.

Thank you! that's what i needed to know.

This is not a helpful answer. As far as I can tell there are no options for removing a dropped student's assignments from either the Ungraded or Graded assignments list. Suggesting to use a Flow without any details about the process is simply no help.

Sorry, Peter

I agree, there should be a simple method for removing posted assignments from students dropped from a course. There is no excuse for this missing feature. Archiving may be better, why not provide both options? MS-Teams for education has some great features but it feels like Microsoft does not have enough developers working on the product for educators.
