Delete one of two accounts in Teams

Copper Contributor

Bonjour,

Sous Teams, j’ai créé 2 comptes par mégarde.
1 avec mon adresse mail et un avec mon numéro de téléphone.
Je souhaiterais supprimer le compte avec mon numéro de téléphone.
Pourriez-vous me dire comment faire?

Merci

Translation: Under Teams, I inadvertently created 2 accounts.
1 with my email address and one with my phone number.
I would like to delete the account with my phone number.
Could you tell me how to do it?

Hello!

thank you for your answer.

unfortunately it doesn't answer to my question.

I want to delete the account definitely, not just remove it from my computer.

Can anyone help me please?

Thanks

Hello, I think you have to be a bit more precise here. Tell us exactly what you have done and if you are talking about Teams free org. or not. Also, your phone number is automatically added as an alias as you can sign in with the phone number as well. Still the same account though.
If you are talking about a user account, if you are an Office 365 Admin, then go to https://Admin.office.com (Admin center) > Users to manage user settings such as adding or deleting users, changing passwords or assigning licenses.
Alternatively you can also go through the portal https://portal.azure.com > Active Directory > Users. Choose the account you wish to delete and remove it from there.

Hello

I think i have found the answer.
the issue is in fact that i have 2 microsoft accounts.
i've created the first one with my phone number to use teams on an ipad.
and i've created the second one with my email for my computer.

i didn't know that i need to fill my computer account to use teams on my ipad.

that's why i have 2 accounts.
and why i can't register my phone number in my computer account.

I have killed my microsoft account with my phone number.

I think it will solve the issue.

Thanks
