Delay in making new members appear

Have someone noticed important delays in making a new member available?
I saw a remark saying that the addition of a new member might take a little time to appear, but almost 2 hours is a lot.

It might be part of the of the backend configurations done by Microsoft to be able to meet the high demands on Microsoft 365 services.
