Default phone number of the tenant is shown when Dialing Out in Teams from an existing meeting or a call instead of the assigned phone number to the user
The default phone number on tenant level, that is included in the meeting invites is from the domestic country. There are users in the organization from another country, who changed the default phone number that is included in the meeting invites with a phone number from their own coutry.
If such user dial out to someone to join a meeting or call using Teams, there is not displayed the phone number from his own country, but it is displayed the defaut phone number for the tenant, which is from different country.
How is it possible to be displayed the phone number from the own country, when dialing out to someone to join during a call or meeting in Teams?

this is not possible afaik.
This behavior is also documented here:
„The default phone number of your conference bridge defines the caller ID that will be used when an outbound call is placed by a participant or the organizer from within a meeting.“

The only other option is that if you have direct routing or calling plans and no audio conferencing license the personal number. But this means the user has no dial in capability for the meeting anymore.

Not really from the audio conferencing perspective.
The only other option is that if you have direct routing or calling plans and no audio conferencing license the personal number gets send to the invited party. But this means the user has no dial in capability for the meeting anymore.
