Create Public Template in Teams

Frequent Contributor

We would like to create a Teams Template that is available to the whole company. This template will be a prototype for delivery teams; people can use this to manage different projects. It will help create standardisation across the company and also help with Teams adoption.

The "Create Team via Template" option is a restrictive as one can only choose from the teams that they are a member of and not from the public ones(unless I become a member).

Is there another way to achieve this?

Currently no. Public Teams can be joined, then create one from that, but You have to make sure people know, not to edit the template :P.
