Create Org-Wide Team not visible

Copper Contributor

Hi everyone,

I have a global admin account (activated with PIM), the account has a M365 E5 license with Teams service enabled and there is >10.000 users in the tenant.

However, when I go to https://teams.microsoft.com/ and try to create a New team, I don't get the option to create an Org-Wide Team - only Private and Public.

Has anyone experienced the same or got any ideas how to get around this?

Thanks in advance!

It’s not that your org already created 5 org wide teams previously?
Hi Adam,

Currently there is only 1 Team created, which is not an org-wide team, in the entire Teams organization.
If that’s so, and all other criteria from here is check off, I’d suggest creating a ticket with Microsoft
htt https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/create-an-org-wide-team ps://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/create-an-org-wide-team

Also keep in mind that even unlicensed users count in the total

All of the requirements from docs were checked off, however after 10 hours of being elevated to GA from PIM, the "Create Org Wide Team" option was available.

Patience is a virtue :)

Thx for the input though!
