Create Different News Items That Appear In Different Channels

Is it possible to categorise a news item created in my Team and have it only appear in a specific channel in my Team.  So my Team has channels for General, Operations, Assembly, Machining.  I want to create News items for all that appear in General, then create other News that only appear in the specified channel depending on its equivalent category ...

Hello @Garry Rawlins   I don't know of a way to automate that process.  What I do is "Post in multiple channels," where I can select the specific channels I want an announcement or conversation to be posted.
