Control roll-out of new Teams features

Iron Contributor

Can we stop/control upgrade of a specific feature for  O365 Tenant via Message center or some other way by Change Management

And we should know exact date for my Tenant when that feature will be rolled-out

No! These changes happen whether you like it or not :)
Although some exceptions like the automatic transition to Teams from S4b that could be postponed!

@adam deltinger is correct here - there isn't such features today. If it's something you are interested in and feel strongly about then would recommend raising a uservoice here

https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public

However, I would add that there is a breadth of controls in the Teams Admin Centre, as well as the ability to control things such as who creates Teams and what apps you will permit. It is highly customizable.

I would strongly recommend the Microsoft Service Adoption Specialist course on EDX by Karuana Gatimu which can show you how rollout and manage Teams and keep the control you need.

Hope that helps to answer your question!

During AMA sometime back I remember this came up and Microsoft said they were looking into some way or another to help manage releases in Teams, but haven't seen nor heard of anything since. It's on the radar, but as Chris said best to bump up uservoice votes for the feature.
