Closing a Teams Meeting for good

Copper Contributor

Hi there.

Is there a way to close a Team Meeting for good, and by "for good" I mean "so that one can not reopen that meeting again" ?

Context : we're using Teams in our university, and it happen's often that students reopen a meeting that was in the past.
That's not a big deal but it should be confusing for others membres of the team to see that the meeting is going on again (some of them were thinking that they were missing something).

Many thx for your help.

D.

@dbourrion you can:

  • delete the meeting from your calendar or
  • or change the lobby to only allow organisers a to bypass. At least that way it may be more obvious that it’s not the right meeting (unless of course you already have this set)
