Client update doesn't stick

When we perform an update on the teams client it seems to have updated the client; however if you restart the computer and open Teams we are being prompted to update the client again.  Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hello, no I haven't. How do you update the client? It sound as the machine-wide installer is involved. Try to completely remove all related to Teams from the computer and start over (e.g. redeploy).
We were just using the download link on the client install; we have switched over to the Machine-wide installer and that has resolved the issue.
