Chime/alert on new message

I usually leave a team chat open during the work day as I have a lot of real estate with several screens.   However, it doesn't chime/alert on a new message.  

Is there a config for this?    I hunted through every menu that I can find.

It should if it’s minimized otherwise afaik no
