Hello, I search for an answer to following problem: I do seminars, that's why I bought MS Teams. I invite student via inviation link. I do NOT want to add anyone to my Teams/ Channel. When they apply the link, Team works, but they cannot use the chat. The message says, chat is only allowed when I add them as members. This is stupid, as I work with hundered different students per month. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks in advance
Hi, as long as the guest settings are configured properly this shouldn’t be an issue. I can recall setting up a meeting with an anonymous user and chat. Make sure the toggle ”guest user can chat” is enabled in Teams admin center to begin with, assuming you already have enabled guest access.
