Change team type off existing team with powershell

Copper Contributor

Hello everyone,

I have a problem, recently I made over 100 teams with powershell. Since it didn't ask me what team type I wanted to chose, every team is now a PLC team. I want to change all of those teams into a Class team type. Is this possible with the help of powershell?

Thanks in advance,

Hi @zenna

Unfortunately, not possible to do that currently. There is a uservoice open for it here which is currently under review

Would vote on it to push up the agenda and when the status changes you will be notified

However, currently you will need to blow away those teams and recreate them as Class Teams or keep them as they are. I can only hope they are empty so you could delete them with the shell and then recreate them with the shell.

Hope that answers your question

Best, Chris
