Certain Microsoft Teams Chat Buttons grayed out

Hello,

Created certain groups using teams chat and all the call and video buttons are grayed out

If there are more than 20 people in the group, these features will be turned off!

@adam deltingeryeah there is like 40 in one chat, but it works when using the phone, is there a difference?

Technically the other method creates a meeting to call and add participants. The group chat uses a different call / meeting template that’s restricted. Odd I know but it’s the way it’s been since teams launch for whatever reason. The group chat limit used to be 25 but they upped it but the calls limit didn’t.

Did you get a response that solved this for you? All my colleagues on the same calls can change their mute and video buttons but mine are grayed out. Thanks in advance!
