I keep getting an error message when trying to upload a word doc to Teams.
The error message says "The following characters are not..." but I cannot see the rest of the error message. When I click on the notification, it disappears. This is very frustrating because I don't know what characters I have to remove for the file to be accepted by Teams. Please help.

SolutionHi,
Check that your file doesn't include any of the following characters
" * : < > ? / \ |
There is also some restrictions in OneDrive (that Teams uses) of other names in filenamnes (.lock, CON, PRN, AUX, NUL... ) and some restrictions of length (400 characters including path)

The issue was actually in the file name. It had a # in it. The file uploaded fine with " * : < > ? / \ | in it.
Thanks!

@adam deltinger This should be taken as a bug in Teams. Any file with a valid filename should be allowed to be dropped. It also wouldn't hurt to fix the messaging so you'd know what it's complaining about.
