Hello! You've posted your question in the Tech Community Discussion space, which is intended for discussion around the Tech Community website itself, not product questions. I'm moving your question to the Microsoft Teams space - please post Microsoft Teams questions here in the future.

many thanks !

Hi @Jsfleet,

Only an admin can remove you from an organization or an org-wide team.

If you previously created an organisation, you would need to log in with an account that has admin permissions. If someone else created this organisation, they would likely have (or know someone who  has) admin permissions.

From this official link, it seems like you do need to delete your subscriptions to delete the directory.

gd dayto you

thanks for the reply, i am the admin (global admin) and have removed the other people from the organisation, i am unable to remove myself and then delete the Org, the only think left to do is remove Licences from the account which i cannot find out how to do or if i have any, the only thing i have found is to go to the Microsoft admin centre but i cannot log in with my usual hotmail address.

regards

Hi @Jsfleet,

Since you can't log in to the admin centre, the easiest way to find out if you have any licenses assigned to your Hotmail account would be to go to a browser and log in to office.com .

From there click the circle with your account name in the upper-right corner of the screen and click View Account.

After that go to Subscriptions -> View

This will show you if you have any licenses assigned to your account regardless of the setup.

To clarify, did you remove the people from your organization via Teams? Previously did you create these accounts or were they already existing?

hello again

many thanks for the continued support, it looks like i have deleted any other people from the organisation it is just me now as global admin, i am not sure if i had created those accounts for others or it was their own, it was the start of covid and we were all flapping around trying to find the best way to talk whilst at home (in the end used skype)

seems i dont have any subscriptions....totally lost here now
